Afterpay is a service which lets you pay for items over 4 interest-free payments every 2 weeks. If you don't have an Afterpay account, you can signup using a credit card during checkout. More about Afterpay.

How to use Afterpay on The Hotel Sheet website

  • Add items to your cart and click checkout
  • If you've purchased from us previously, or from another Shopify store previously, or have used Shop Pay, your email address may already being showing upon checkout. BTW Shop Pay is independent of The Hotel Sheet, just like Apple Pay or Google Pay.
  • To use AfterPay instead, scroll down to 'Payment' or 'Card' (depending on your platform)
  • Tap the little down arrow to the right of payment as shown below
  • Then tap 'Alternative Payment Methods' as shown below
  • Then choose 'AfterPay' as shown below
  • If you have an Afterpay account, login
  • If you don't have an Afterpay account, enter your email address and click continue to create an account
  • After creating an account, you'll be directed back to The Hotel Sheet to complete your purchase
 

Troubleshooting

If you've purchased from us previously, or used Shop Pay on a different Shopify store, the system will usually log you in automatically. However, if you wish to use a different payment method like AfterPay, the system can become confused in rare situations.

If this happens or if the steps above to choose AfterPay aren't working, follow these steps to logout first...

  • Start checkout
  • Ignore any Shop Pay login requests or codes
  • Scroll to the very bottom of checkout
  • Look for a small, blue link: ‘Checkout as guest’ (see image below)
  • Enter all your shipping details
  • Then under Payment, you will see various options
  • Tap AfterPay
  • Log-in to your AfterPay account
  • If you don’t have one, you can create an account from that screen
  • You’ll then be sent back to the cart
  • Finish checkout
