COVID-19: Orders ship once level-4 ends

50% Off Factory Seconds Liquidation Sale

Dear Friends,

Like all New Zealanders, we're struggling to understand the full scope of the Covid-19 pandemic. We feel lucky to live in New Zealand but worry at how quickly everything is changing.

As many of you know, we derive most of our income from home shows and the Autumn shows are normally a busy time for us. Unfortunately, the cancellation of large-scale events now means we have stock that must be liquidated.

In particular, we have limited stock of factory-seconds sheets which were originally developed for a hotel in the Swiss Alps. These sheets are silky-soft and warm, perfect for winter. Information on the type of sheet and the faults are detailed below.

While our 60 night trial doesn't apply to factory seconds, we have free NZ shipping, Laybuy and AfterPay.

We hope you stay safe, and wish you and your family very good health.

Much love,
Christina

50% Off Factory Seconds 1000TC Liquidation Sale

Factory seconds 50% off: The silky 1000TC sheet

High-quality 1000TC sheets are unusual in New Zealand as they cost a small fortune. That's because the more threads used, the more cotton used. So when really great cotton is used, high thread count sheets cost $700-$1400 NZD per set.

And these sheets are no exception, normally retailing for $849 per Queen set, they're now just $399 per Queen set, more than 50% off*.

Many of you have felt and loved these silky-soft, thick and warm sheets at home shows, so understand the quality.

50% Off Factory Seconds Faults

What are the faults?

We have high standards but especially when sheets retail at these prices. Expect fraying and/or sloppy finishing (see images).

The faults are purely cosmetic and are not usually seen as they seem to appear on the underside and are easily trimmed off. However, we've also found sloppy threads within top stitching but again, easily trimmed.

The cotton, yarn and manufacturing are of exceptional European quality so expect these sheets to last for many years to come.

We don't know how many sets have been affected so it's pot-luck and first come, first served!

50% Off Factory Seconds Silky-soft & Warm

Why are they perfect for winter or cold sleepers?

Developed for a hotel in the Swiss Alps, these sheets use the Sateen weave which is softer and warmer. That's because the Sateen weave is a closed weave which traps body heat, unlike the Percale weave which has tiny gaps that release body heat.

But when the Sateen weave is combined with quality cotton, manufacturing and a high thread count, the result is an expensive but amazingly silky sheet that's cozy and soft - perfect for winter or cold sleepers.

Important: If you're accustomed to our cool and crisp Classic Hotel Sheet, this sheet is the opposite kind of sheet. It feels silky-soft, warms up quickly, and traps more body heat.

50% Off Factory Seconds Quality Rarely Seen In New Zealand

Exceptional quality

This close-up photo says it all, look at how clean that yarn is.

The yarn and manufacturing quality is unlike 99% of 1000TC sheets we find here in New Zealand because quality cotton, yarn and manufacturing results in prices too high for most of us.
